This one’s a short one: I’m swippety-swapping platforms.
The best news is if you’ve already signed up for the newsletter, you don’t need to change anything! I was able to transfer existing subscriptions to the new platform, so you’ll continue receiving Make Work Suck Less without lifting a finger.
Why the change, Pete? I don’t like (even unnoticeable) change.
Two main factors went into this: cost and functionality.
Substack charges a 10% transaction fee for subscriptions; Ghost charges a flat monthly rate. Substack is exclusively a newsletter; Ghost is a newsletter-website-combo.
All that is to say: I can host my newsletter and offer my coaching services all in one place, under one site – and I can do it more economically.
